Ragnarok: Malaya - Philippines Inspired Map " Aswang ang mga Mobs!"

Here's a brand-new Philippines inspired map called Malaya. They called it Philippines inspired map but I cannot see any Philippines related places. So yeah, I assumed that this is Manila (judging by the places on the map above, there is a la Luneta Park, Intramuros wall *left-side*, Raja Soliman Park *middle*, Pier and the rusty roofs of squatters). Other pinoys who already seen this map said that this was a shot taken by Google Map.

This is probably Sogo or some low-class motels. Look! they don't even have a doors. How awesum is taht.

Somewhat bears likeness with the Chocolate Hills. This is the main entrance to the dungeon I supposed.

And here are the mobs. All monsters are from monsters in the Filipino folklore. Mobs can be inspected below!

Bungisngis (Laugh-Trip LOL!), a one-eyed giant monster in Filipino folklore. It has a humanoid form. Bungisngis is from The Three Friends. But he supposedly do not have a giant round metal ball of spikes in his hand.

Buwaya (Alligator or Greedy). This is one of the above average mob sprite they have for Malaya. It have both characteristics of a Buwaya, An alligator fused with a treasure chest. Good one!

Engkanto, they are close relative to Duwende but this is green so they should be harmless, I think?

Mangkukulam (Witch in English). Equip with needle, wearing a blue coat with a voodoo doll on top of her.

Tiyanak (a.k.a Anak ni Janice), Oh yea! this looks creepy yet cute to me.

Just like Merman, Wakwak is a counter part, most likely, of the Manananggal but much more uglier.

Manananggal, counter part of Wakwak but more elegant because she has a giant injection with her to kill noobs instead of her fangs. Demons these days ~

Tikbalang (a.k.a Vice Ganda) if there is Tikbalang why not make for Kapre?

Bangungot, much like a pile of Kulangot for me. heh. ... and look the sprite when he is being hit ... he is poking his eyes out with his sharp hands nail. Seriously sprites could be dumb somtimes. Same as my english.

Impression: I could careless about Pinoy stuff here but the monsters are just funny if you'll try to think this way ... "Ah inaatake tayo ng mga tiyanak takbo!!". Laugh out loud. And I really appreciate that they made a Philippines inspired theme in Ragnarok, I mean we deserve this! Looking forward in to it too! :D
