I just finish reading the available chapters of AKB49 - Renai Kinshi Jourei and I think, in overall, it wasn't really that good or bad either. A pretty much so-so will perfectly describe the manga. The story is all about a
guy who cross-dressed as a girl to help his ultimate crush gets in to AKB audition sorta, luckily his crush got in and the cross-dresser too. Really pathetic story-line there. I mean this kind of story is really predictable, I could even see how this manga will end! Guy will be obviously get caught, confess what really happened, confess to the girl who he likes, and then the girl will decide whether to accept the guy and fall in-love or turn down the guy and be an ingrate.
Moreover, people might disagree with me on this but I dislike the graphics here. I mean, while reading the manga I often got confuse who is who and who is she because almost all of the idols are look so identical to each other. You can't distinguish them unless you will look at their eyes (i.e Minako and the other blonde girl (I forgot her name but she has a round eye unlike Minako's sharp/pointed-eye)) or with the color of their hair (but I doubt it because it is black and white). The lead guy often got praised for having a, what?! err ... cute-girl-like-face? Well I don't know ... but he sure looks like a guy for me even if he wears mini skirt. My god! he/she even spread his legs while wearing a mini-skirt, may be he's airing his balls. It must be soaking wet after all those splits.
Despite of all that I am intrigue by the latest chapter which is Vol. 2 chapter 13, what is that fat-guy's planning? why does he have to raise the ticket's price? why does he have to put Minako with the regulars. Well that's pretty obvious, it is for her to hone her skills. And I have this feeling that this fat guy is already know that Minako is actually a guy, and will laugh at it at the latter time and say JUST AS I PLANNED.
